Nestled in a picturesque village on the outskirts of Zonnemaire, near Zierikzee, this charming old farm turned B&B offers a welcoming retreat for families seeking a blend of Dutch design aesthetics and modern comfort.During our stay, we discovered that Zeeland is a 5-star cycling province, making it perfect for family bike rides and exploration. The region's reputation as a great diving location intrigued us, and we were tempted to try open water diving due to the strong currents and waves.The family room we stayed in was thoughtfully designed, with a cozy main room featuring a double bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a separate bedroom for the kids. The cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the B&B were truly impressive, creating a homely ambiance that made us feel welcome and relaxed.Our mornings were a delight, starting with a delicious breakfast in the hosts' inviting kitchen, complete with a variety of fresh fruits, bread, cheese, and homemade cakes. The personalized service, such as a specially prepared gluten-free breakfast, showcased the owners' warmth and hospitality. The beautiful garden just outside our studio provided a tranquil space for relaxation, adding to the overall serenity of our stay.In conclusion, Hofstede Villetta exceeded our expectations, offering a family-friendly atmosphere and a perfect base for exploring the natural beauty of Zeeland.
